The new location is itself an objet d’art with its unique exterior – a gratifying, perfected brickwork façade – classic Faubourg mosaic floors, and a stunning voluted staircase that comprises white marble, cherry wood and a leather handrail. The two-storey maison offers Hermès signature silks, jewellery, and fragrances on the first level. The second floor is heaven for home lovers: It introduces Hermès’ furniture and lighting to Toronto, as well as its collection of exquisite wallpapers, textiles, home accessories and objets d’art. Hermès iconic leather offerings occupy a dedicated place on this floor as does a private, personal salon for true Hermès devotees. This new, expanded jewel in Yorkville is the largest Hermès in Canada and speaks to Toronto’s Yorkville as the premier venue for representing design prestige and potency.
