Architecture

Brian Brisbin said 138 Yorkville is "fundamentally about life and living in the moment, rooted in place, heritage, and the art of the possible." The design uses stone, glass, and bronze. Over 100 trees cascade throughout 31 floors. Each terrace has at least one full-height mature tree. Interiors and exteriors connect through floor-to-ceiling glass.

The building's curved bronze and limestone facade sits at Yorkville's busiest corner. At street level, there's a water feature, a glass entry box, and a signature tree. The porte cochere and lower-level valet area both have espresso stations.

Three Interior Styles

Alessandro Munge designed three distinct styles for 138 Yorkville based on what he calls "distinguished residents, their eclectic personalities, and curated belongings." He describes the interiors as having "the quiet confidence of a tailored suit and the detailed elegance of a couture gown."

You pick one of three: Transitional blends heritage details with modern finishes, rounded edges, eclectic touches, craftsmanship that bridges old and new. Contemporary goes minimal with clean lines. Traditional stays classical with refined details.

All three styles include Gaggenau appliances built into the kitchen design, bookmatched marble throughout, climate-controlled wine walls with backlit onyx bars, gas fireplaces clad in stone, heated bathroom floors, floating vanities with Italian fixtures, and TVs that vanish into the mirrors.

Every home has a private elevator foyer. The elevator opens into a room with custom stone floors (metal inlay detail), twelve-inch marble baseboards, and oak walls with curved fluted corners. Cove lighting overhead. No shared hallways.

Eleven-foot curved windows run floor to ceiling in the living spaces. Each terrace has a full-height mature tree. The floors are light herringbone wood bordered in white marble. Baseboards recessed. Marble perimeter.
