Just this past Sept. 29, Yorkville welcomed the fabulous STK, emulating the sizzling success of its 15 sister restaurants globally. In fact, Michelle Voegelin, STK’s articulate, proficient, beautiful general manager, having been here for so short a time, was overwhelmed by Yorkville’s welcome, “the community opened their beautiful arms to us!” And even the more established restaurants made their welcome clear by dropping by and sharing the love! Bravo Yorkville!
This newest STK honors its celebrated, worldly vibe: It is sophisticated, savvy, seductive, vivacious and throbbing with the DJ’s in-house energy (personal requests are invited). And the food is sensational! Michelle’s favorites include Octopus, Tater Top Poutine and the 10 oz. Sirloin; but you can find your own particular heaven in the superb Wagyu Beef, Chili Rubbed Rack of Lamb or the Mediterranean Sea Bass just to name a few. This is ONE Group’s first Canadian venture and it has instantly hit the mark: 200 patrons attend nightly with a standup-bar for 80 to rev up the collective electricity; corporate events are booked daily for parties of up to 30 guests. The dramatic luxury of the venue marries the STK brand to Yorkville brilliantly; Michelle notes respectfully how they “went all out in this location, to complement the neighborhood.” Bravo STK!
