John Ferrigamo Custom Designs | Where Bespoke is an Art Form

Five-star rated, clothier artisan, John Ferrigamo, takes singular pride in providing the gentlemen of Toronto with suiting that is the epitome of class. The distinction of a handmade suit comes from its craftsmanship; and the dedication and skill demonstrated by Ferrigamo’s team is unmatched.

Men in suits gather around a man in a cream suit inside a menswear shop.

When you walk into Ferrigamo’s Yorkville shop, you know it speaks to refinement – the layout, the ambience, the luxury and the elegance. Shelves of world class fabric lengths and a library of swatch books are there for perusing – the finest called from England and Italy – where the discerning customer can choose the right pattern and style for his custom-made suit. If a client is more adventurous, there are bolder looks to choose from with check, stripes and colors.

Each garment is handmade and fashioned to perfectly fit the client; the finest fabrics are specifically selected, and the details are exquisitely crafted by respecting the exact measurements of the client. Individualized details include the lapel, collar, cuffs, vents, buttonholes, buttons, jacket lining, pocket styles, sizes and location – these combine to define the garment’s individuality. Hidden pockets, embroidered initials, contrasting colours, personalized linings are yours for the asking!

The Ferrigamo experience engages clients in personally choosing from the multitude of luxurious fabrics from Europe’s world-class mills. Interestingly, the term “bespoke” translates not only as “custom made to personal order,” but also refers to the fabric itself, which is “spoken for” – thus “bespoke” – exclusively to a particular buyer.

Just as fundamental as the suit is to the complete sartorial expression, so too is the made-to-measure shirt. The custom dress shirt, perfectly tailored to the client’s specifications, projects sophistication and professionalism. The client again has the pleasure of choosing his preferred fabric and the style of the collar and cuffs.

One of the most popular aspects of Ferrigamo is the custom tuxedo for Toronto grooms for the traditional black-tie wedding - especially popular during the spring and summer “wedding season.”

The very same quality, expertise, personal choice, and attention to detail is meticulously honoured whatever the client has ordered. One can take pride in arriving at any function meticulously and stylishly attired by Ferrigamo!

As John Ferrigamo articulates so well:

“Custom and Bespoke tailored garments are the highest level of dressing well. The best custom shop balances heritage, service, integrity, quality, luxury and the experience to fit a man better than anything he’s ever worn, while refining his personal style and professional brand.”
